Biography
Rebecca (Reba) Alcoba is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in both primary care and pediatric intensive care. She completed her graduate studies in nursing and public health at Georgia State University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, after earning undergraduate degrees from Lynchburg College and Jacksonville State University. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Reba worked as a registered nurse at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Children’s of Alabama. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) and holds active certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Reba is dedicated to partnering with children and their families to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that supports healthy growth and development. She strives to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their child’s health journey.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cheering on Alabama football, staying physically active, and spoiling her rescue pup.
